My girlfriend and I came in for date night. The ethiopiques special was so flavorful! It is more than enough for two people! The cocktails were on happy hour until 6pm and so perfectly blended by our server/bartender. Amy the owner came out of the kitchen and talked to us about the food and drinks. It was truly a wonderful experience! I plan on becoming a regular

One evening we just felt like trying Ethiopian food and on searching for a place, we found this restaurant. It was nice and cozy. There were some take out orders but we were the only ones to sit and dine there that night. The server was good and explained us patiently about the different menu items. The food was delicious and the chocolate cake was among the best we’ve tried anywhere so far. I would definitely recommend trying this out and we’ll be going again for sure.

I recently discovered Ethiopiques Cafe and Restauant and fell in love with the restaurant and the staff. The co-owners, Kim and Liza (from Ethiopia), and their charming server, Clint (from the Bahamas), made me feel welcome and took time to explain several dishes that I have never tried before. They made this an amazing experience for me. Ethiopiques is located at The Grand Pavillion Shopping Plaza (on the corner of State Bridge and Kimball Bridge Road), and across the parking lot of Boca Bargoons Fabrics. Although not advertised on the menu, I was told that they try to source as much organic ingredients as possible for their menu. The flavors are more savory and well-seasoned than spicy. MUST TRYS Tibs: Beef. seafood, or chicken cubes (served in Ethiopian sauces) Injiri: Traditional spongy fermented Ethiopian sourdough bread. It is a staple and made from teff flour, similar to a French crepe with a spongy texture. Use it to sop up the sauces in your meal. Cabbage with Potaoes Ethiopian Honey Wine Coffee (not regular coffee; I forget what they told me what was in it--maybe cinnamon or cloves). The coffee was creamy and the flavor was divine!
